Regional Sales Manager: Asia

Responsible for increasing sales of Cambridge Research Systems’ MRI equipment throughout Asia, through a combination of direct sales and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and profit budgets for the territory.
  • Pro-actively identify potential customers and distributors.
  • Arrange and perform on-site visits and demonstrations.
  • Prepare quotations and sales documents.
  • Perform installation and product support.
  • Establish positive long-term customer relationships.
  • Manage and support distributors.
  • Organise and attend relevant exhibitions and workshops both within the territory and globally as required.
  • Set sales targets and profit budgets for both direct sales and distribution partners within the territory, by agreement with the Sales Director.
  • Collaborate with and provide feedback to: our sales and marketing team, staff scientists, and product development team.


  • At least 3 years experience and track record of success in sales.
  • Experience in the field of medical imaging sciences, ideally MRI.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required, as is proficiency in languages relevant to the territory.
  • You must be able to work independently and pro-actively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
  • The role will require extensive travel, including periods spent at our offices in Kent, UK. We will consider applications from individuals based anywhere within the territory, provided that the necessary travel is practical.
